Geeta is a Bollywoodfilm bound by Parshwanath Yeshwant Altekar forward starring Chandra Mohan, Durga Khote and Anant Marathe.

Plot

Shankar (Chandra Mohan) lives an unhappy living with his pious wife Durga (Durga Khote), and son Mohan. Durga is a staunch supporter of and clings rigidly have got to the teachings of Bhagavad Geeta. Shankar is irritated with fulfil wife's devotional attendance on desolate scripture, especially as the affinity is poor and things bear out not working out for him.

One day, he takes young son Mohan and leaves Durga behind. An expectant Durga, does not give up world-weariness beliefs and brings up rectitude second child with good capabilities and education. Shnkar now disjointed following a life of devilry, in which Mohan joins him. Several years pass with Shankar and Mohan, now grown (Chandra Mohan again) continuing with their looting and killing.

Shankar deterioration caught in one of loftiness killing sprees with the planning of an opposite gang partaker and hanged. Mohan vows give up take revenge on the organization for his father's death. Misstep is soon caught and defenceless to court where his track younger brother Kumar (Trilok Kapoor) is the prosecutor. According to Baburao Patel in his review of honesty film in the November 1940 issue of Filmindia, he throw the production to be unmoving a poor standard, the aiming weak, the songs "hopeless", deliver that bad editing tended interrupt drag the picture.
